Manyoni Private Game Reserve: Luxury Big Five Safari

Experience a true luxury Big Five safari on Manyoni Private Game Reserve — 23,000 hectares of unspoiled Zululand bush, home to the endangered black rhino and free-roaming wild dog. This is Big Five game viewing with five-star service, away from any crowds.

What to expect

Your private field guide collects you at the port in a comfortable safari vehicle for the transfer into the reserve. Open-sided Land Cruisers allow 360-degree sightings as your guide reads tracks and calls, building suspense before each encounter. A bush breakfast or sundowner (depending on timing) is served in the wild — linen napkins, fresh coffee, birdsong as the soundtrack. Manyoni's anti-poaching programme means rhino here are remarkably relaxed, allowing close, extended sightings.

Booking

Good to know

Full-day excursion (~10 hours from port). Pre-booking is essential; Manyoni limits daily day-visitor numbers to protect the guest experience. Taxes and fees calculated at checkout. Wear earth tones; avoid strong fragrances.
