Blast through the skerries and sea-lanes of the Sunnhordland archipelago aboard a high-speed RIB, spotting seabirds, seals, and the wild coastline that cruise ships can only admire from afar. Small-group intensity, big-fjord scale.
What to expect
Kitted out in a warm survival suit, you roar out of Leirvik harbour and into the open archipelago, weaving between granite islets polished smooth by the last Ice Age. Your skipper-guide cuts the engine in sheltered coves to let you watch grey seals haul out on sun-warmed rocks and scan the sky for white-tailed sea eagles. The RIB also noses into dramatic sea caves carved by Atlantic swells, and the return sprint across open water — spray flying, islands streaking past — is pure adrenaline. Back at the pier within 2–3 hours, exhilarated and fully dry thanks to the suit.
