Icon of the Seas Heads to Galveston: What Loyalty Perks Change
Royal Caribbean is sending its flagship Icon of the Seas to Galveston starting August 2027. The move replaces its Miami homeport with Hero of the Seas, the fourth Icon-class ship, and gives drive-market cruisers from Texas, the Midwest, and Southwest realistic access to the world's largest cruise vessel without an airport security pat-down.
