The underwater tunnel and penguin area tend to be the highlights; some sections feel a bit dated or overly commercial with gift shops at every turn. It's popular with families, so it can get noisy and crowded on weekends and school holidays.

Best time to visit is weekdays during shoulder seasons (March-May or September-November) when crowds are thinner. Summer is busy but the weather outside is better for combining with other activities.
