The viewing platform is the highlight; the film and gift shop are average. It's straightforward, not flashy, but genuinely impressive when a big container ship or cruise liner passes through.

Best time is dry season (December to April) for clearest views and less rain. Go early morning or around lunch to avoid the worst crowds and heat. Expect to pay around $15-30 per person including entry and a basic tour; add more if you want a full guided experience with transport from Panama City.
