Fort Charlotte is a solid, low-key stop if you want a bit of history and a killer view without the crowds of the main cruise port attractions. Built in the late 1700s, it's Nassau's largest fort. You'll walk the ramparts, see old cannons, explore a dry moat and some dungeon-like rooms, and get sweeping panoramas over the harbor and city. Expect a straightforward historic site rather than a theme-park experience – it's interesting for 45-90 minutes if you like that sort of thing, but it can feel a little empty and hot once you've seen the main areas.
