Indoor Skydiving in Dubai: Worth It?

Expect a loud, windy rush inside a tall vertical tunnel with air blasting up at 200+ km/h. After a quick briefing and gear-up (flight suit, helmet, goggles, earplugs), you’ll get two short flights of about a minute each. Instructors grab you and guide your body position so most people manage to “fly” on the first try. It feels surprisingly close to real freefall but without the altitude or risk. The whole visit takes 60-90 minutes. It’s safe, well-run, and a solid adrenaline hit if you’re not up for jumping out of a plane. Crowds and noise are the main downsides; it gets busy with groups and the tunnel is genuinely deafening even with ear protection.

Best time is November to March when Dubai isn’t brutally hot. Expect to pay around $80–$130 for a basic two-flight package including instruction and gear; photos or video add noticeably more. Go for the standard first-timer package with two flights. Skip the expensive video upgrades unless you really want footage—your instructor usually shares a phone clip anyway. Book a morning slot on a weekday to avoid the biggest crowds and enjoy it more relaxed.
