The narration is light and touristy—expect corny jokes—but the novelty of driving straight into the bay is genuinely fun for most people, especially kids. It’s not a wildlife expedition; you’ll see a few sea lions and birds but it’s mainly a sightseeing trip with a splash.

Best time is late spring through early fall (May–October) when the weather is reliably warm and the bay is calmer. Summer weekends get crowded so book the first tour of the day if possible.
