
Taboga Island, located 30 minutes by ferry from Panama City, is a small inhabited island known as the Island of Flowers, featuring tropical dry forests, three beaches, and the picturesque village of San Pedro with the second-oldest church in the Americas built in 1685. Visitors can hike scenic trails to viewpoints like Cerro del Vigia and Cerro de la Cruz, swim and paddleboard on beaches with shifting sandbars, and observe one of the world's largest colonies of brown pelicans along with other wildlife including dolphins and seasonal whales.
