What to expect
You depart from Puerto Baquerizo Moreno's pier at first light, a 45-minute boat ride out to the rock. In the water, whitetip reef sharks cruise the sandy channel floor beneath towering basalt walls. Guides point out sea turtles, spotted eagle rays, and schools of tropical fish. Back on board, a simple seafood lunch is often included before the return.
Good to know
Book at least a week ahead in high season; bring reef-safe sunscreen and your own mask if you prefer. Return timed comfortably before a late-afternoon all-aboard, but confirm pickup time with the operator directly once your ship's schedule is set.
