León Dormido & Isla Lobos Wildlife Cruise

A slower, small-boat alternative to snorkel-only trips: cruise past sea lion colonies at Isla Lobos, watch blue-footed boobies dive, then anchor at Kicker Rock.

What to expect

The boat first stops at Isla Lobos, a low rocky islet a short ride from town, where a resident sea lion colony barks and lounges within a few meters of the trail; blue-footed boobies often perform their courtship dance nearby. The boat then continues to Kicker Rock for snorkeling among rays, turtles, and reef sharks in the narrow channel between the cliffs.

Good to know

Morning departures are calmer for photography and snorkeling visibility; bring a wetsuit top as water can be cool June–November. Confirm return time against your ship's all-aboard when booking.
