What to expect
Your driver-guide picks you up in a restored 2CV, roof rolled back, and takes the coast road south through the stacked stone vineyard terraces above Banyuls-sur-Mer. You stop at overlooks most buses can't pull into, hear how the terraces are still worked by hand, and finish with a short tasting of local Banyuls or Collioure wine. The pace is entirely yours; if a view or a cove wants ten more minutes, you take them.
