Widely called one of the best beaches in the Caribbean — powder sand, clear water, a healthy reef right off shore. Go early with a guide who knows where the turtles and rays feed.
What to expect
You wade in from the shallows straight onto a reef shelf a few dozen meters out, with your guide pointing out eagle rays, turtles, and reef fish. The water is glass-still in the early hours. Afterward you can walk the full mile-plus of the beach, still nearly empty, before it fills up. It's the Anguilla postcard shot, but experienced the way locals actually do it.
Good to know
Best 7:30-9:30am before boat traffic and beach bar crowds arrive; bring your own mask if you're particular about fit. A short taxi ride from Road Bay or Blowing Point.
