Rendezvous Bay at Golden Hour: A Mile of Empty Sand

A long, gently curving bay facing St. Martin, consistently uncrowded even in season — ideal for an unhurried walk and swim rather than a packaged activity.

What to expect

You arrive to a nearly two-mile crescent of sand with St. Martin visible across the channel and almost no one on it outside the resort's small beach service area. The water is calm and shallow for a long way out, good for a real swim rather than a splash. It's the kind of beach where the best plan is no plan — walk, swim, sit, repeat.

Good to know

A roughly 15-20 minute taxi from Road Bay/Blowing Point; there's minimal shade, so bring your own umbrella if going midday. Late afternoon light is the best reason to save this for last.
