Soar 324 metres above glittering sea in a crystal-floor gondola connecting Dolsan Island to the mainland — the only maritime cable car in Korea. The views of the island-studded Korea Strait and Yeosu's harbour are genuinely world-class.
What to expect
Step into a sleek gondola at the Dolsan terminal and glide out over open ocean, sea-lanes busy with cargo ships and fishing boats far below you. The crossing takes roughly 15 minutes each way, and on clear days you can count dozens of islands stretching to the horizon. At the Dolsan Landing you can descend to a cliffside observation terrace before riding back. Sunrise and golden-hour crossings are particularly magical.
Good to know
The cable car is about 15 minutes from the cruise pier by taxi or private car. Book crystal-floor cabins in advance during weekends and Korean public holidays — queues can be long. Open daily from 09:00; last gondola varies by season. A 2-hour round-trip window is sufficient.
