Sail a private schooner across the jewel-green waters of Paraty Bay, dropping anchor at secluded islands, crystalline coves and snorkel-perfect coral gardens that day-trippers never reach. This is the quintessential Paraty experience — unhurried, sun-drenched and utterly breathtaking.
What to expect
Your private schooner departs Paraty Wharf and weaves through more than 60 emerald islands, stopping at four to five spots chosen by your captain for swimming, snorkelling and beach-combing. A freshly prepared on-board lunch of grilled fish, tropical fruits and caipirinhas is served at anchor. The crew provides snorkel gear and stand-up paddleboards, and the final return leg offers a golden-hour view of the colonial skyline you will never forget.
Good to know
Confirm your all-aboard time and request a departure no later than 09:00 to allow a full five-to-six hours afloat with comfortable buffer. Pre-book directly via Paraty Tours; private charters sell out weeks in advance in peak season (December–March). Wear reef-safe sunscreen and bring a light cover-up.
