What to expect
A short 4WD transfer climbs the mountain road above Khasab to the zipline platform, where the Gulf of Oman and the labyrinthine fjords spread beneath you in full panorama. You launch above vertical limestone cliffs, reaching exhilarating speeds with the wind off the Arabian Sea in your face and nothing but turquoise water below. Multiple lines of varying lengths allow you to build confidence or simply go again. The clifftop setting is extraordinary for photography even before you step into the harness — the jagged peaks, the mirror-calm inlets, and the distant silhouettes of Iranian mountains are simply otherworldly.
