Sunset Khor Sham Dhow Cruise: Champagne & Canapés on the Fjord

End your Khasab port day on the water as the sun melts behind the Hajar Mountains, turning the fjord walls gold and rose — a private evening dhow charter with Champagne, Omani mezze, and the silence of one of Arabia's most spectacular seascapes.

What to expect

As the afternoon heat softens, your private dhow slips out of Khasab marina and into the inner fjords as the light begins its transformation. The crew serves chilled Champagne (or sparkling juice) and a spread of Omani mezze — hummus, fattoush, marinated olives, and freshly baked khubz flatbread — on the cushioned bow deck. Sheer 800-metre cliffs glow amber, then deep rose, then violet as the sun dips. Spinner dolphins frequently appear at dusk, their acrobatics silhouetted against the fading light. The stillness, the scale, and the colours make this one of the most moving sunsets available anywhere in Arabia.
