Plunge into the narrow channel of Kicker Rock — a soaring volcanic sea stack — to drift alongside hammerhead sharks, Galápagos sea lions, and manta rays in one of the archipelago's most legendary snorkel sites.
What to expect
A 25 km panga ride from Puerto Baquerizo brings you to the twin volcanic towers rising 148 m from the sea. You'll slip into the channel between them and drift with the current, spotting Galápagos sharks, white-tipped reef sharks, green sea turtles, and cascades of tropical fish. Two full snorkelling sessions are included, with a surface interval for a light lunch aboard. The return ride often yields blue-footed booby sightings and flying fish skimming the bow.
Good to know
Pre-book at least 2 weeks ahead — small-group slots sell out fast. Departs ~7:30 am and returns by ~4:30 pm, comfortably before a standard 5–6 pm all-aboard. Bring motion-sickness tablets: the open-ocean crossing can be choppy. All snorkel gear provided; wetsuits are recommended and available.
