A masterclass in Galápagos wildlife in a single day — giant tortoises in the highlands, sea lions at La Lobería, and a sunset cruise along the island's dramatic coastline. The complete San Cristóbal experience.
What to expect
Morning begins at the Cerro Colorado Giant Tortoise Breeding Centre, where you walk among free-roaming tortoises and learn about the island's extraordinary conservation story. The route then climbs into the misty highlands before descending to La Lobería beach, where Galápagos sea lions bask inches from your feet and marine iguanas sun themselves on black lava. After a fresh seafood lunch in town, the afternoon explores coastal viewpoints and the Charles Darwin interpretation trail. Your naturalist weaves ecology, geology, and evolutionary biology into every stop.
