Descend into one of the world's greatest accessible wreck dives — a 200-metre WWII troopship lying just off shore. Artifacts, staterooms, and the legendary 'The Lady' figurehead await in crystal-clear Pacific waters.
What to expect
You'll kit up dockside in Luganville and fin out just metres from shore to where the Coolidge rests at 20–65 m depth — uniquely accessible without a boat. Your dive master guides you through the First Class promenade, the engine room, and past the iconic 'The Lady' ceramic tile. After surfacing, you wade ashore at Million Dollar Point to snorkel over mountains of deliberately dumped WWII military hardware, an eerie and utterly fascinating second act.
Good to know
Open-water certified divers only; advanced cert recommended for deeper penetrations. Book at least 48 hrs ahead — gear, tanks, and guides are limited. Pacific Dive is a 10-minute taxi from the main wharf. Confirm all-aboard time and allow 30 min buffer; the dive operation runs to a tight schedule.
