Misool Eco Resort: Guided Dive Safari in a No-Take Marine Sanctuary

Dive the world's most biodiverse reef system inside a 300,000-acre community-protected marine sanctuary — home to walking sharks, pygmy seahorses, and manta rays. Misool Eco Resort's expert guides lead you to sites no day-tripper ever reaches.

What to expect

Board a sleek resort tender with your dedicated dive guide and head to sites with names like 'The Freezer' and 'Nudi Rock,' where sea fans the size of dining tables sway in gentle current. Night dives reveal epaulette sharks 'walking' across the reef on their pectoral fins — a prehistoric spectacle unique to this corner of the Coral Triangle. Your guide knows every resident pygmy seahorse by name and will position your camera for the shot of a lifetime. Topsides, the resort's deck offers cold towels, fresh coconut, and 360° karst views.

Good to know

Day-dive bookings for non-staying guests are limited and must be arranged well in advance via the resort's contact form at misool.info. All-aboard times should be confirmed before booking — the resort is a 45-min speedboat ride from the main Misool anchorage. Resort is open mid-September to mid-June only.
