Expect a lively, tourist-heavy scene: carnival-style attractions, boat tours, live music, and the giant Ferris wheel that dominates the skyline. It's not quiet or intimate—think crowds, noise, and a mix of families, couples, and groups. The pier itself is free to enter and walk, but most activities cost extra. In summer it buzzes with energy and events; in winter it's much quieter, sometimes icy, but you can often have more space.

Expect to pay around $30–70 per person for a few rides, snacks, and a boat tour if you do it casually.
