Kravica Waterfalls Day Trip from Dubrovnik

A full-day trip to Kravica Waterfalls from Dubrovnik means 10–11 hours on the road with two border crossings. What you get is a dramatic set of wide, tiered waterfalls tumbling into a bright turquoise pool you can swim in during summer. The site is scenic and refreshing but quite commercial—expect wooden walkways, a restaurant, changing rooms, and crowds in peak season. Most tours combine it with a stop in Mostar (about 90 minutes) and sometimes a quick look at Počitelj or Ston on the way back. It’s a long day but the only practical way to see these falls from Dubrovnik without renting a car.

The best time is May–June or September. July and August are hot, crowded, and the water level can drop. Expect to pay around €70–€130 per person depending on whether you choose a shared minibus tour or a private driver. Private trips cost more but let you control the schedule and avoid the biggest groups.

Tip: choose a tour that reaches Kravica early in the day before the main buses arrive; the difference in experience is noticeable. Skip the combo that adds too many quick photo stops—better to have real time at the falls and in Mostar than rush through four places.
