The Metropolitan Natural Park is the only city-based natural park in Latin America, spanning over 232 hectares of dry and humid tropical forests that are now extinct in 75% of the country. Visitors can hike designated trails, observe birds and wildlife, conduct research, or participate in guided interpretive tours through protected natural ecosystems.
