What to expect
Board a purpose-built dive boat from a private resort jetty and reach the Astrolabe's outer wall within minutes. Your divemaster will select sites — coral bommies, swim-throughs, and cleaning stations — based on conditions and your wish list. Surface intervals are spent drifting over glassy turquoise water with only the sound of sea birds. Expect encounters with reef sharks, hawksbill turtles, and explosions of anthias along every wall.

Pre-book directly with Mad Fish at least 2 weeks ahead — slots fill fast on port days. All-aboard times in Kadavu are typically early afternoon; morning two-tank dives finish comfortably by midday. Bring your dive certification card; equipment rental is included.
