Set sail aboard a traditional motor sailboat to Kadavu's iconic Heart-Shaped Island — a 50-minute open-ocean crossing rewarded with a private beach, champagne picnic, and crystalline snorkelling over deserted fringing reef.
What to expect
A traditional Fijian motor sailboat departs the main jetty and crosses open, deep-blue ocean to the Heart-Shaped Island, a tiny coral islet fringed by powder-white sand and swaying palms. Your crew sets up a private picnic — fresh seafood, chilled prosecco, tropical fruits — on the beach while you free-snorkel over a pristine reef bursting with parrotfish, clownfish, and soft corals. There is no one else here: just your group, the reef, and the sound of the Pacific. The sail back in the afternoon light is pure cinematic Fiji.
Good to know
Journey time is 50 minutes each way; a light sea breeze is typical, so a light layer is useful on deck. The picnic, snorkel gear, and non-alcoholic beverages are included; the full morning runs approximately 4.5 hours. Departs 07:30 to ensure return before all-aboard. Private arrangement for 2–8 guests; pre-book at least 10 days in advance.
