Paddle through a labyrinthine network of ancient mangrove channels and open ocean to remote outer islets — one of Kadavu's most photogenic and rarely experienced half-day adventures. Pure wilderness, zero motor noise.
What to expect
Expert guides lead groups of no more than six paddlers into the mangrove maze at slack tide, narrating the rich biodiversity — mudskippers, sea eagles, and juvenile reef fish nurseries hidden in the roots. Emerging onto open blue water, you paddle to a deserted islet for a private beach stop and a cooling swim over a fringing reef. The return leg skirts the coastline and reveals dramatic volcanic cliffs before a fresh tropical-fruit spread awaits back at the resort.
